Get & Install Cisco AnyConnect Secure Mobility is a simple operation if you observe the instructions below.
Requirements
Before you commence, check the below requirements:
- OS compatibility: Windows 10/11, macOS, or Linux distributions.
- Admin privileges on the computer.
- web connectivity for the transfer.
Download procedure
1. Open a web browser such as Google Chrome, Firefox, or Edge Chromium.
2. Go to the Cisco vendor site or your enterprise portal.
3. Locate the AnyConnect Secure Mobility installer for your platform.
4. Click the get link and save the package.
Verify the download
After the file download, confirm the installer:
- File size should match the published figure.
- If available, check the digital signature.
Install on Windows
1. Right-click the installer and choose Open with admin rights.
2. Follow the visual prompts:
- Accept the user agreement.
- Choose the default components.
3. Complete the setup and log off and on if needed.
Install on macOS
1. Open the installation image and double-click the pkg.
2. Follow the installer prompts, enter admin password when asked.

Connect to a VPN
1. Launch the AnyConnect client.
2. Enter the VPN server address.
3. Provide your username and password and any 2FA code.
4. Click Begin connection and verify the connection status.
Troubleshooting
If you face errors:
- Verify network connectivity.
- Power cycle the client.
- Uninstall and reinstall the AnyConnect.
